Posted by Jim Sanders Dallas's wife listed on the census can't be George's mother due to her age. George's death certificate lists his father Dallas as being his father, but unknown for his mother. I can't seem to track any record down for George's mother. Also, I can't find any record of Dallas Poole other than the 1880 US census. Hello, I'm found my Poole family listed in the 1880 US Census, District 248, Jackson County, GA. I'm a descendent of the George Poole, age 13 and his father Dallas.
