The ancestry of Isham Harris who died in 1825 in Jasper Co has been traced back four generations to the late 1600s using various records. But, the genealogical evidence is not as strong as desired. One way to add credibility is with DNA testing. Isham and his wife Mary Lansford had sons Thomas, Lansford, David, William, Joel and James and I am seeking a volunteer Harris male descendant from one of these sons for a DNA test. Financial assistance will be provided where necessary.
