In the book, EAST GEORGIA SETTLERS,I stated that Nathaniel T. Maynard was the nephew of both John Maynard and Nicholas Maynard. That statement is in error. There is no proof of this. I also stated in the book that Nathaniel T. Maynard was a possible child of Thomas Maynard. He could also be a possible child of John or Nicholas. He definitely belongs in this family. Since he is buried in the Old Maynard Family Cemetery where John and most of his family is buried, it's possible that he was a son of John.
