Hello:
I'm looking for information on a fellow by the name of Frank Thornton. The name could have been Francis or Franklin, I'm not sure. He married Anna (Annie) Irvin sometime around 1890. I'm not sure which county, but the Irvin's were living in Pike County in 1870, Hall County in 1880, and Franklin County in 1900. I do not know Frank's birthdate, but Anna was born in 1868. They had at least one child, Alice, who was born in 1892.
The only absolute record for him is Alice's death certificate, which shows her father to be "Frank Thornton". Before I even located that record, family tradition had him as Frank Thornton, so I know he existed. I do not have a marriage or death certificate for Frank.
Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
