Hi,
I am looking for information on John William Nash, born about 1810 in GA. and married Mary Francis Mahan (Mahorn) in 1843 in Muscogee County, GA. The family then migrated northward towards central Alabama (Shelby County). I am not sure if John William is from the Nash's / Naish's of Elbert County, but the family is married into the Butler family from Elbert County GA and John lived near other Naish's who were from Elbert County, GA (Abraham Naish and his wife Mary Polly Butler), so the logistics tell me he is either a brother or cousin to Abraham.
