I am researching the Neal family who came from NC and settled in and around Banks County around 1820. John M. Neal was married to Cynthia, had a son named Thales M. Neal. Thales died in 1864 and I am trying to locate his will that was in probate court in Feb. 1865. This is the information I have so far:
Miscellaneous Wills Index
These are Wills uncovered in a box during Shelf
Inventory in 1992 at the Georgia State Archives. They
have not been processed any further by the Archives.
No effort has been made to compare them to the recorded
copies in the Will Record Volumes at Probate Court in
Homer.
