This is not much information but it may help you. I found a record of a Frankie Collins who married Jas. Tye in Culpeper County, Va. 1801.
James and Frankie were living in Oglethorpe County, Ga. in 1811.
Then they were found in Morgan County, Ga.
A probable son was John H. Tye who married Juliann Hall on Dec. 27th, 1832 at Walton, County ,Ga.
James was killed in 1842 in Morgan County.
I have found very little else regarding this couple, except for tax records in Morgan County.
