My ancestor William Hall (d.ca1809 Elbert Co.) was married to Sarah Blake (1770-1848), daughter of Rev. Sol. William Blake (d.1798 Elbert Co.) and William Blake's first wife, name unknown. William Blake had come to Wilkes/Elbert area ca 1785 from Wake Co., NC with his 2nd wife Lucy Allen Mobley, widow of William Mobley, and William Blake's children from his two marriages and Lucy's children by William Mobley. The children of William Hall and Sarah Blake were Mary, Blake Richard or Richard Blake, Alcy, John Pryor, Samuel, Thomas, Seales and Simeon Hall. Nothing further is known about Mary (b.1790), Alcy (b.1794) or Samuel (b.1799). Blake married in Habersham Co., John Pryor, Thomas and Simeon married in Elbert Co., Seales died unmarried as
young adult. Sarah Blake Hall married 2nd in 1811 to William Head (1761-1821) and had one son, William Capel Head, born 1813. Both John Pryor Hall and William Capel Head had a son with the middle name of Chambers.
