My ancestor James Fielding Arnold was born in Halifax County, VA. He was living in Randolph County, NC for 1790 and 1800 census. He moved to Clarke County, GA by 1805 and then to Morgan County, GA by 1809 and sometime after 1820 he moved to Walton County, GA. Am I his only descendant that is researching his line? I'm trying to connect him to the Francis Arnold that was in NC at same time as him. There was a Francis Arnold in Clarke County, GA same time as Fielding. I believe this Francis s the Francis that went to Bedford County, TN while my Fielding went to Morgan County.
