I have been researching my Harper line for some time now.. My GGgrandfather was Henry H. Harper born in GA (Thomasville GA according to his death certificate and Decatur Co. GA according to a family Bible).Henry H. Harper born January 29,1831 GA (Son of John Harper and Cynthia Procter or Procecer. After John's death at an early age Cynthia married William Shores with whom she had several children. (she was buried in FL at age 111) ...Henry's family was originally from SC, Henry Harper married Mary Ann Singletary 23 Nov 1853 (daughter of Henry and Hanna Singletary) in Thomas Co. GA. Henry had two brothers that I know of... John and Alfred all three moved to Jackson Co. FL..before 1860.. Any info would be helpful..
