I am the manager of 14 year old Laura who made her professional debut on Friday at The Empress Ballroom.
Please convey my thanks to the all the fans who made Laura so welcome and for their tremendous response to her performance.
What a great atmosphere and a great evening that Laura will never forget.
You will be pleased to learn that on Thursday morning before she left for Blackpool, she did an interview for BBC Radio Northampton. Her tribute song to Billy "Legends Never Die" was played. Listeners started to ring in immediately to enquire about the CD. In fact, after Laura had left the presenter (Anna Murby) had to put out a request to stop people from ringing as the track was not yet commercially available.
I am a lifelong fan of Billy and, through Laura, we are attempting to introduce Billy to a whole new generation - the kids of today.
