Hi Sandy,
Thought you may have been limited on time!
Just remembered that in our Coles Quilt group, Aust. one lady used to stitch a special square
for those babies/children that had already passed on.
It had an angel's face and hands, holding a teddy and a heart
and the words of a poem beneath went like this:
"It's not how deep the sea,
It's not how wide the sky,
It's how sweet the time
From hello to goodbye."
Then there was another heart,
and the baby/child's name and a date.
I'll try to post a pic later to give you an idea.
Unfortunately no one has been on the group for ages, quite a few were sick and some have left, so there probably isn't a possibility of getting a pattern or knowing the source. (Some ladies designed the patterns themselves).
