Wonderfull news! I had to rip out something on white Aida and it was RED floss. It left some residue, but using my "Little Boo Boo Stick" (it's a stick with two sizes of brushes on it, like a small bottle brush type) it picked up most of the red and washing it took care of the rest and the "holes" left behind.
I can't say the same thing will happen with overdyed floss though. That tends to run and stain your fabric.
