Trish, I think if you work a row across normally like:
/ / / / /
then come back:
\ \ \ \ \ \
you get that effect anyway on the other side.
Have you tried it? It would be a pain if you're constantly changing colours.
The only thing is the finishing off, not sure what they recommend for that.
