Not trying to be presumptuous, but I've heard of mares accepting orphan foals after they themselves have foaled. Maybe that's just a story and wishful thinking. Of course, two foals suckling on one mare may not get as much in nutrition and it could tax the mare as well. Glad, though, that the little guy is at least adapting. I'm sure he'll soon become everyone's shadow, too!
