She has got to be the dirtiest mare ever seen on a foalcam and I'm embarrassed to have her seen by others this dirty but I did want to be able to check on her at least a couple of times during the night so I turned the cam on. When I went down this eveninig to check the mares, Golden Silk was really bagged up big and tight. Her milk is still clear and not that sticky, but as she has foaled a couple of times in the past without much warning, I got nervous and put her in the barn. She is pretty sunken in the croup and has started to loosen up in the vulva. She is of course upset about being put in the barn and pacing. Even though she probably won't foal tonight, it is good to have her start getting used to the idea of being in the barn.
