About a little after midnight this morning Mom went home to the Lord. She slipped into a semi comatose state Thursday night and stayed that way till about 12:15 this morning. I not exactky sure of the time. I was sitting in the living room watching tv and I heard one of the cat's let out a hiss. I thought they were fighting with each other but I'm thinking now that maybe that cat either saw of felt the spirit of Mom leaving her body. When I got up about 1 am to check her I turned on the light and discovered her not breathing. I checked her pulse and felt none and her body was cool. i called hospice and they came out and made it official at 1:30am.
I want to thank you all for your prayers. I want to than the Ladies of the local hospice chapter for all the care they gave Mom. Pray for all the hospice workers out there and the hard work they do to care for their patients as well as the families and their grief and suffering. Pray for my brother and I and mom's brother and sisters, neices and nephews during our time of grief.
I thought I would let you all know and thank you for the love you sent our way.
