Good Afternoon,
Sorry I am running a little late today. I had some things I needed to get done and my daughter came to help with it so the morning was gone before I knew it.
................................................
Today's Scriptures:
Matthew 5:43-45 (NCV)
"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemies
'.
But I say to you, love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you.
If you do this, you will be true children of your Father in heaven. He causes the sun to rise on good people and on evil people, and he sends rain to those who do right and to those who do wrong.
..................................................
You know sometimes it is hard to pray for those that have really hurt you, especially when it is close family or someone who you have been close to for a long time. But by doing what the word says and praying for them He said we will be true chidren our Father in heaven.
I have found out that a lot of times when people hurt us it has nothing to do with us at all. It is about something that has went wrong earlier in the day. So it behooves us to sense these things and pray for them because they really do need our prayers.
God Bless,
Brother Lester
They spent their time learning the apostles' teaching, sharing, breaking bread, and praying together.
