Praise the Lord! What a great day to start posting Sharing the Scriptures again.
Today's Scripture Matthew 6:33 (NCV)
The things you should want most is God's kingdom and doing what God wants. Then all these other things you need will be given unto you.
Now I know that there are people that will say, well that scripture can not stand along. Well that maybe so, but I would like to share just a little about what this scripure means to me.
I will go back to 1971 when my wife and I were first married. We choose this scripture as ours and we have stood upon it ever since. We even had it engraved on a plaque and it was placed next to our front door for years.
God has been there ever step of the way and He has delivered all the things that we have needed to us. Really the way I take that scripture is that if we seek the Kingdom of God first and we ask according to his word which is His will, it will be given to us. Now they may be those that would disagree with what I am saying, but you see they can not change my mind. Why? Because we have proved it over and over and over again and again.
