I saw this joke today and thought it was appropriate under current circumstances.
Three health care workers arrived at the pearly gates at the same time. The first was a nurse who had worked with poor people and St. Peter sent her directly into heaven. The second was a Doctor who had run a free clinic. He too was sent directly into heaven. The third said he was an HMO administrator. St. Peter frowned slightly then after leafing through The Book looked at the man and said:
"I will let you into heaven for five days but you have to pay a $500 co-pay."
