Dear Brother,
I have yet to read a scripture that says we sin if we pray the wrong way or for the wrong thing. I am pretty sure that God cares about everything that we think feel and say. If this lady wanted to pray about the game then so be it. I dont think it was a sin and I don't think that God will punish us for bringing our concerns to Him. That doesn't mean He will say yes. But like any loving Father, He is there to hear our concerns and to provide wisdom and comfort. I hope this helps.
