I wanted to say first off that while I haven't been posting much lately I have been praying for the needs put forth here and for the many ministries represented here as well. I had the spinal cord stimulator replaced, and it works wonderfully except in my left leg, which they believe is due to the leads having moved. I was disparaged when I started to have pain in my left leg that was more intense and different from my normal pain. Both of my spinal specialists believe that there is something putting pressure or impacting on the nerve root ( @ the L5/S1 level ), and I am scheduled for an epidural this coming weds. morning. If the epidural doesn't help then they will do a Myelogram CT scan, in which they put a long hollow needle into the spinal fluid and inject a contrast dye into the spinal fluid itself and then flip you over several times before doing the CT scan.
And now for the Praise Report! Many of you may remember my brother Raymond (who was born mildly mentally retarded) that had surgery to remove part of a disk that had herniated. Well, as of last Monday morning, his surgeon has officially RELEASED him from treatment! He has had NO FURTHER PAIN in his back, and never even had to have physical therapy, and he walks between 2 and 5 miles each day. Praises to God, He truly came through for Raymond at the point of his need!!!
I also have a prayer request for my wife, Angel. 3 weeks ago she was laid off after 9 years with Emory University. I can't help but feel like God has something better planned for her. Please pray for guidance for her. Also, I would like to ask for prayer for my friend Hulda, that she receive the financial miracle she and her family needs and that her husband David be healed of his heart problems,
