Posted by Tobbaco Valley Kid(c/o Karen) on 12/15/2002, 3:49 pm TVK Nicole Tina Ashley smoked like a chimney. The petite, brunette junior college student smoked at least three packs per day. Although her brand of choice was Marlboro Reds, shed smoke whatever she could get her hands on. That included the Marlboro Lights or Ultralights her friends smoked. Even though smoking them was almost like smoking air, they were better than nothing. Nicole smoked so much that her friend Patti, a fairly heavy smoker herself, nick-named her Nicotina. She liked the nickname so much that she adopted it as her own. She even used it as part of her AOL user name, nicotina0512, and went by it at Lucky Strike Lanes, the bowling alley where she worked. Nicotina loved working at Lucky Strike Lanes. She liked her coworkers. She liked most of the bowlers. Best of all, she could smoke while she worked. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. A big corporation bought out the owners of the alley. Said big corporation was going to make the bowling alley smoke free. Nicotina was devastated. She knew she wouldnt be able to go eight hours without smoking and not strangling someone. One night after she got off work, Nicotina was in her room smoking up a storm and reading the evening paper. The stress of her uncertain job situation was making her smoke more than normal and her ashtray was nearly overflowing. She looked through the help wanted section and one ad caught her eye: Retail Sales. No Experience Necessary. Call 555-6927 and ask for Max. SMOKER FRIENDLY. Max Maxine Profumo awoke promptly at six-thirty to her usual morning coughing spell. She reached over to her nightstand where several packs of cigarettes lay and pondered over which one to choose from. There were Max 120s, both regular and menthol, Mores in the red pack, Newport 100s, and a pack of nonfiltered Chesterfields. Those were what she needed this morning. She extracted a Chesterfield from the pack and placed it between her lips. Grabbing a Bic from the nightstand, she thumbed the wheel. It took her five tries and what seemed like an eternity to get a flame. Finally, fire met paper and tobacco. A plume of uninhaled smoke escaped her lips and Max took what would be the first of many drags that day. She wolfed down that first cigarette, hot boxing it in less than two minutes. Then she used it to light a Newport, which she smoked in a more leisurely fashion. It was going to be a stressful day. Maxine went by Max, as in the cigarettes of the same name. In fact, during her modeling days, she appeared in a couple of ads for them. Although she was no longer a model, she still retained most of her beauty. She attributed this to a steady diet of nicotine and caffeine, as well as a few other substances. And although she was no longer a cigarette ad model, she still smoked for a living. After being pushed out of the biz by younger and fresher faces, she got a job as a regional sales rep for one of the Big Three tobacco companies. Now, she was going off on her own. Max decided to open the George Sand Shop. It was to be a high-end tobacconist shop with cigars, pipes, and accessories and catering mainly to the professional woman. She was able to rent a location downtown, remodel it, and purchase some inventory. Now she had to hire a staff. Today she was interviewing a couple of girls including the above mentioned Nicole Ashley. Max stubbed out her Newport and got ready to take a shower. This is definitely going to be a big day, she thought to herself. As she proceeded to the bathroom, she took a long white cigarette and a holder. She always smoked with a holder in the shower. How else was the cigarette going to stay dry?

This is a story posted by Tobacco Valley Kid to the SFF 2. I thought I'd post it here, and see if anyone's interested in adding on to it.
Here is the first part of a story that I started but never got around to finishing. Anyone else care to write a few lines?
