Comment: The Plot (and the smoke) thicken!

This is exciting! New characters, and the story turns to a new viewpoint and becomes the story of the boy and his reactions. Marvelous! Especially the hanging ending which absolutely shackles the reader and makes them beg for more, and more and more... Perhaps I will reserve a reply to this one myself. It's tempting, fersure. But if someone gets in ahead of me, that's OK, too. Thanks, Michael! Wonderful job!
