Posted by Karen When you log in, you'll see a box asking for a password, but hopefully the box won't be there very long, and when things are all done, I'll remove the password protection and voila! It will be all different, and hopefully a very beautiful place where we can share wonderful stories together. I credit Vesperae with the idea of keeping the transformation "under wraps," so it can be a surprise once it's all ready to go. That will be a big moment. The password protection also assures that people won't be posting for a few days, and therefore nothing will be lost. I will go ahead and save a nuimber of the more recent threads that are already here to be sure that they are available to anyone if you need them. If you think you missed something, write me and I can send it to you. If you have suggestions, or you would like to help with the design, please email me because I can use all the help that I can get. I can even send you the password so you can take a look at the construction if you need to help with it or clarify things. I'd like people to look at it, actually, and gather comments and assistance wherever possible. Right now, I've been working on a picture to put into the header, and then I was also going to work on the guidelines for story submission. There are a lot of other things to be done, though, like figuring out how to get the header and the background working right, and how to organize the posting and the special words that go into the header, and the whole question of promotion (if, when, where, how, and how much). This weekend, like probably Sunday, I will put in a temporary password protection here so I can work on this board and change things around. I'm going to email Thomas, Rod, Michael C, Barb, Bastion, Jay, Vesperae and John Player to let them know that it's happening and that it's only temporary.
