Dear Mr.Robertson,
My name is Jessica Dawson. I saw your post about your paternal Grandmother having geniology records dating back to 700 AD.
I have an old book on English sernames and it says that the name Dawson means "Son of David." This is what the Jews called the Messiah, "Son of David." I was wondering if you knew if the Dawson's originally came from a Jewish heritage?
