Hi there. My name is Dennis Houser, I am a policeman for the City of San Bernaridno and the President of the San Bernaridno Police Historical Society. I beleive the person you posted this about (Walter A. Shay) was the father (or maybe grandfather) of the first chief of police in San Bernaridno (Walter A. Shay) Chief Shay was Chief for about 6 years and then went on to be the Sheriff for San Bernardino County.
