I was thrilled to read your message posted on 20 March 2006 and am only sorry that it has taken me so long to find it! William Alister Macdonald was my great uncle - in other words he was a brother of my grandfather. I have a lot of information about WAM but am wanting to learn more about him. You say you are living in Brittany. I live in the south of England in a place called Eastbourne so we are not all that far apart - certainly compared to Ile de Moorea or Tahiti! I am 77 years old, am married to Jeanne and have a son Roderick and daughter, Clare with grandchildren Louise, Hannah and Tom and a great grand son Charlie.
