But in my obviously biased estimation, the zine is STILL a steal - cause that interview is the *mother lode* of SQ esoterica...

How about you write Norton Records first (http://www.nortonrecords.com/index2.html) and see whether they've got plans to reissue any of those Kicks zines? Lemme know what they say, could you?....
