Good afternoon Judy. I just came across your posting on the Esquerita Talk and Trading site. I check it every now and then to see what's going on. I thought I would mention to you that I am from Greenville, SC and age now 71. When I was a young man here in Greenville Esquerita was performing here some and I was able to see him. Boy could he make a place rock. As to your Mother I have two 45 rpm records in my collection of her. No. 1 is on Hermitage label and is (Southern Style) Willie B and produced by Reeder and Bolds. It is a DJ copy and I purchased it from someone in England a few years ago on ebay. I also have what must be a later Hermitage label of the same record (Southern Style) and is Willie B and produced by Reeder and Bolds. Red label and like brand new, looks almost as if it has never been played (also purchased out of England). The unusual thing about this Red label copy is that it says it's by (THE ESKERETTES) and in all my searching with my collection I have never come across this record again. The flip side (Southern Style) on the D.J. Copy is (I trusted in you) and is Willie B. The Red label one by the Eskerettes on the flip side is , (Love is a many splendored thing). I am sure with the voice that this is also your mother. If you would like to see my collection you can go to one of my websites and see both of these 45 rpm records listed (both sides). I also just before I sent this e-mail jumped on ebay and found 1-Copy of the Hermitage 45 , the same one that I have, listed with a starting bid of 4.99 and a shipping cost of 3.00
and an ending bid date in 4 days and 19 hours in Kannapolis, NC . Thought I would mention this in case you don't have a copy of this one you can check this ebay site out. The sellers ebay ID is (jeffwaller) if you want to search by seller but you also can just put in (Southen Style Willie B) and it will bring it up. To close I would like to mention that your mother could belt it out really great and voice is a dream. Best regards John Mccauley. Boy those were the days.To go to my site use the Yahoo search engine and my site is
(POPEYEONLINE.COM). The best to you.
