there are a few choices here. if you don't have access to a b&w film lab and can't process film yourself kodak has a b&w film that you can pick up at target -- it's called kodak 400cn. you can process this film anywhere -- it's pretty cool. if you want to use classic b&w film, try tmax, either 400 or 100 speed. it's also kodak. the grain structure is fabulous and it's got a lot of latitude, so it's pretty forgiving. good luck.
