I have a Kodak DX4900 it has 2x optical zoom, all glass lenses, and 3x digital zoom. The camera shoots up to 4.0 megapixels and has an auto/manual function. I'm wondering if you think this is good enough to take photos for shows. It gives a great finished product, But i think because it looks more like a snap shot camera it gives the wrong impression. I also use my good ol' pentax ME super (obviously not something great, but its my trusty steed hehe). What do you think about my digital camera choice? Is it really that important to get the crazy high mega pixels and such? Also, I'm a college student. Sparing money for a new camera is well... painful.
