I've actually found that if you process at the Kodak Picture Centers digitally, it works well. I know it costs a tad bit more and you need a paper cutter to get nice edges, but the time saved is awesome. The quality is nice too and you can alter lighting and crop and such on the machine right there. If all else fails I'd suggest going to a smallish place because they tend to be more personal. There was one day I needed slides of my art by the evening, and the guy had them done in 3 hours flat. Good luck!
