Is this for one ad? or multiple ads, business cards, flyers, photos to handout to mare owners, etc? ----a lot of thought should go into this. Primarily remember your time, expertise and how much work the images will be doing for the client. 4)Subjective, but I find I must use a tripod and often I use a flash, not always though... depends on the sun. As a Nikon user myself, I recommend the SB28. Your lens are adequate for the job. Equine shoots are unique in many aspects, it is wise to learn all you can before the shoot.
