I am wondering how to get started as an Equine photographer. I am taking a photography course. I went to College for equine studies, although I do not currently own a horse. Should I contact local farms or stables, asking to photograph their horses for reasonable rates, for the experience. Should I advertise at a local tack shop, as an amateur photographer and charge cost for a little while again for experience. How should I break onto the scene without a lot of field experience?
