I have done alot research before I bought my lenses, and I believe that Sigma has the best deal going. They have a 50-500mm zoom that has AWSOME resolusion and sharpness, and I have used this lens for many horse action and nature photo's, and have very good results. This lens retails for $1000, but can be purchased for as little as $750 from several online stores. As far as what kind of Digital camera to buy, I would consider the4 new Nikon D100 a good option, or any camera you can find that can use this lens!!!
