My daughter does novice level eventing. Ie goes faster than Mom can run. I have purchased several cameras over the last few years trying to get the right shot to no avail. I have a 35 mm Minolta 300 point and shoot,(can be manual also), a Sony Digital and a Sony Digital Video(new) All I want is to learn to capture her jumping the cross country course, or jumping stadium (I have dressage down ), before she moves up to the "big shows" About one more year to practice. I get alot of grass, alot of sky or alot of tail but never" the good shot". I always seem to just miss that moment. So Any books, articles, websites where Or any suggestions. I could read to learn about how to do this better. There are few professional photographers at her level of shows. Too many big shows in my area. So it is up to me!
I never have time to go to a class as I am the groom and driver. But I do have down time where I could be reading. The instructions books that came with the camreas are never any help. I am especially interested in the video. Thanks My daughter's groom
