Posted by Erika Currently, I'm putting my pix out on Shutterfly. I send the link of the pix to my friends and if they like the photo, they buy it from the site. (Right now, I am giving away tons of pictures!) I really LOVE this site and the ability to crop/edit pictures. It's fast, easy and the quality of prints is quite good. I don't think I'm ready to take the plunge and start doing this without a service such as Shutterfly. I don't think I could mass develop, crop, send out photos on a large scale yet. (I have a day job, so I need to do this on a limited basis.) Does anyone know of any sites similar to Shutterfly where I can put the photos online but then somehow be able to put my own fee on top of what they charge? Any other ideas? Perhaps, I could make myself available at shows and I could send the link to photos I've taken but how would I ever make money on this? Any advice is greatly appreciated. I love taking photos and my friends are all pushing me to go into business for myself but I'm really unsure about how to get my feet wet in terms of selling my photos.
