I bet you were in shock when you stood where he was and realized what was going on! I know I would have been. Maybe you could get sheers, allowing you to still see out but giving you privacy? Would that work, do you think? Living where we do, we don't have to be concerned about anyone seeing us, since there are no other houses, just trees and set way back from the road, BUT that could catch us off guard some time if someone unexpected comes to the door and we don't hear them drive up. Our house is pretty sound proof, so we don't often hear a car running or car doors closing. I told Terry he may get caught that way sometime when he is exercising, haha. Me and Bob, watching out for our spouses, haha. He isn't nude, but he isn't dressed for company, haha. Our treadmill is in our walkout basement, which faces the woods at the back of our house, so it is highly unlikely that anyone would surprise him there, but it 'could' happen. When the kids were still living at home he could have been surprised by them bringing friends downstairs at that time, as he would never hear them coming with the TV up loud over the noise of the treadmill. When I was young and rented my first apt. with a girlfriend, we had a surprise.... We had a basement apt, so our windows were at ground level. I went to take the garbage out one night and lo and behold, there is a guy peering in through our windows! I can't remember now, if we had curtains and there was a small area still where he was peering through or what the case was. I think that must have been it, OR we would have seen him looking in, I think. He ran off when he saw me outside. It sure made us uncomfortable though, wondering how long that may have been going on??!! Oh, and that reminds me of my Grandma ~ she lived in a small house that had 2 bedrooms and bathroom right smack dab on the alley! You had to have good blinds/curtains for those rooms! We lived there for a few years after she passed away, so we know what it was like, haha. Anyways, she was in her bathroom one summer night, with the lights out, window open, and all of a sudden she hears water spraying - yup, some guy decided to relieve himself right outside her window. I'm sure she scared the bejeebers out of him when she yelled, "go pee in front of your own window!!' I can just hear her, LOL! Love,
