Posted by David Montaigne At the time, I felt this "prediction" was stupid (and that is the main reason I remember it.) I expected New York would be destroyed by a nuclear explosion, and no one would be wearing a dust mask at ground zero - radiation would be lethal. Of course, after 9/11, the vision he had makes sense. Is anyone familiar with this dream, and can anyone tell me what book (even if out of print) it is from? Please email me if you have the answer. Thank you. Dave

Around 1980, I read one of the many books about Edgar Cayce - and one part stands out in my mind that I would love to find in print again, but cannot. Cayce had a dream/OBE in which he found himself in a city in ruins. He felt as if war or earthquake might be to blame. He approached a man in a bulldozer dealing with rubble, who was wearing a dust mask, and asked the man where they were. The man said, "C'mon buddy, this is Manhattan!"
