Posted by John Bomar D.C. The Cayce physical readings were remarkably accurate as to an individual's physical ailments and many of the diagnoses were confirmed by medical men of the day. For those of us who have an understanding of basic physiology --- how the body coordinates various organic functions, the readings prove fascinating reading. None of the readings I have studied contradict basic laws of physiology, indeed, the source of the readings often went far beyond the science of the day in understanding the human organism. Most of those understandings have now been confirmed by research and study. This is what helps give confidence in the Cayce readings. The fact is that Cayce had no medical training, yet, when under trance he could beautifully describe various inharmonies and imbalances of physiological systems leading to dis-ease. It is truly quite remarkable.

The Cayce readings were not infallable as regards predictions of future events. Many events never came to pass that were foreseen. The readings themselves cautioned that future events were not carved in stone, but rather, were dependent on the actions and consciousness of man, therefore the future is mutable. This confirms the respect of man's capacity for free will choice.
