Search "Blocked eustacian tube" for one of the most common causes of dizziness. The resulting vacuum effect stresses the middle ear and the organ responsible for balance. Glycothymoline nose drops (1/2 glycothymoline, 1/2 distilled water) often help to open the tubes in the back of the throat by cutting the mucus that blocks the lumen, allowing for the equalization of air pressure in the middle ear.
