I don't know, but I got rid of my hayfever symptoms, if not the condition. I first had hayfever at about age 30. I suffered with it until I was 60. In June of that year, when I began sneezing, I gathered blossoms from all of the grasses growing around our place, ground them up, mashed it into a glob of petroleum jelly, and put a dab in the crook of my elbow with a bandage over it. In a day or so the sneezing stopped. It started again in August so I repeated the process, I suppose with some different grasses. Some years now I don't sneeze at all, and some years I need to repeat the process. One day usually does it. It has been 17 years of comfortable summers. I don't know whether or not it will work for anybody else; it may be a placebo effect. Mind is the builder. But, like chicken soup, it can't hurt.
