Posted by geo. Any time mankind has sought of it's own power and will to usher anything golden in, it's turned into a disaster. Didn't Hitler promise the 1000 year Reich for example? If God means to bring something about, he has no reliance on us and our methods or understanding. There is nothing mankind can do to improve on what already has been created, and it's always been a sign of arrogance on mankind's part to attempt so. At best the only thing we can honestly try and do is to keep ourselves in check with exercising humility, self restraint, and keep our hatreds, jealousies and wars to a minimum.
