Posted by Pat I used to be really into Cayce, but after reading some of the critics, I became less convinced that he was the real thing, that maybe what he was chanelling wasn't really akasha, but the minds around him, as critics have claimed that he would offer cures that would agree with whoever his assistant was at the particular reading. I would like nothing better than to be reconvinced, because I find the Cayce readings and history fascinating. I'm just not as willing as I once was to swollow it whole. What really turned me around was a website that showed where in his readings, a disproportionate amount of past lives were "higher ups" in Egyptian, medevial, or early American times instead of commoners. Also, the author of the site found one past life that was read to two different individuals. If you have rebuttal for these claims, I'd like to hear it.
