Leoniah listened to his story as she gathered leaves for the den. It must be hard to have killed your family on accident...leaving him with nearly no one left. Although the last part made her smile...all the way back so he would't lose her. She kept the smile to herself not sure if it was a good moment to share it but her inside burst into joy when he spoke those words.
"When I woke up and you were gone...I didn't know what to think. It kind of hurt but at the same time I was too proud to show it. Then as the months went buy It was getting harder and harder to hunt." that was the time she was growing larger with pups, "never thought one body could hold so many lives, six in all. I never knew or thought I was having a litter...It was kind of a surprise when I had to stop eating for fear of killing them...it was hard. Towards the end though It made me stronger...much stronger than I was when I met you...I couldn't bear the thought that if you ever returned I would have killed your children...and they all carry your fire." She explained to him...until there was a nice comfy space in the den. "Losing any one of them was like losing you all over again...it's why I fought so fearociously for them...I could die as long as they lived...in them was you." then she remembered, "you should meet Akira, she has so much of us in her...and so much raw emotion...such the trouble maker...ran away shortly before the attack, I hope she's okay though." Leoniah was never worried about Akira...she was stronger than many except her brothers and Akemi. She enjoyed talking about their pups, "They don't hate you, I know them I've raised them...It's just different now. You have to understand that." She didn't want him to feel bad about how his own flesh and blood was treating him.
