Castii slinked through the forest looking for a squirrel or bird to eat. The forest teemed with life and birds were chirping everywhere, bragging at Castii because he couldn't reach them. Though they were mostly happy about spring coming and the winter disappearing. Paws were heard padding on the soft ground, Castii could feel it in his paws. The air was somewhat warmer too. In fact, by the time Castii found a chirping robin, he was panting out of the heat on his back. He hurried to get out of the sun's rays, finding shade under a nearby tree. He spit out the feathers in his mouth and sat down to gnaw on the bird. He listened to the sounds of the forest, glad to see that the long winter was gone. One of the good things about spring was that prey would be plentiful. After finishing, he buried the rest of his meal and left it for later, walking back in the direction of the packlands. "Nah, I think I'll go exploring around Wolf Mountain. Maybe Shama Forest if I can find it." Castii broke into a run, dashing off the packlands and into the plains, his main destination to be Shama Forest.
