Bandido nodded with a smile, glad Taniku was learning to utilize her blessings for things other than battle. That was the best way to get used to their effects, by using them when they could be used. But she also made a note to tell her later on that they should never be relied upon. Her gaze went from the green tiger to the black wolf.
She listened to Taniku's explanation and then to Black Rain as he spoke. After a moment of silence, Bandido smiled, certainly more welcoming than she was when she first approached. "They are quite a pair, Taniku and Tumatri. I wouldn't have them any other way," she said, glancing briefly back to the feline. Without skipping a breath, she addressed the matter of the wolf's tale, "There is always time. It's just a matter of when you want to do it."
The vixen looked over her shoulder into the heart of her pack. It was trying at times, but she wouldn't have it any other way. Bandido looked back to Black Rain, "You may stay as long as you need. And once you're ready to tell me what brought you here, I'll be here to listen." While the alphess got the impression the tale would not be pleasant, she offered a reassuring smile that said if nothing else, she would listen.
Bandido knew her borders were safe, and she was already having the urge to return to her den and check on the two eggs she had tucked away before returning to her rounds. Without having any kits of her own around any more, she was restless at times, but her young mythical counterparts usually occupied that time. Then there was Black Magic, and she could only hope he was alright. The vix turned and began the trek back to her den that was by far too large for a fox. After taking a few steps, she paused, looking over her shoulder and speaking to them both, "You are welcome to come. I'm hoping they will hatch soon."
There was a hint of excitement in her voice at the prospect of hatchlings, there were every time. It was almost as if she knew when it was going to happen she'd experienced so many. With that, she continued on towards the heart of the territory. It would take longer to get there without teleporting, but with company that didn't know the pack as well as she did, it was best to walk if they chose to come along.
