The wolf gave Taniku an appreciative smile when she spoke basically what was in his mind. Black Rain had never been one for titles. Beta was a responsibility not a right. If he were to go around telling everyone he was the Beta of Ice pack it would surely stir up some resentment. Normally being of a cheery and nice disposition, the black brute looked forward to a good reputation and as many friendly encounters as he could.
At the black fox's approach, he stood silent, waiting to be addressed and introduced. It was true he'd seen Bandido in the war before last at Ice, and she probably didn't know his part in her life. Most likely, Tsuki no Hikari never told his alphess who'd told him about the diabolic collie's plans. Black Rain, though he didn't really know the extent of his actions still, had been a huge turning point in that war. Because he'd refused to fight, because he'd tried, something was done. And now his icy blue eyes fell on the fox with a cheery smile, tail giving a slight wave. "I must commend your friend and her dragon," he said. "She's helped me much more than she knows. I think, perhaps, I should tell you the whole story when you have a spare bit of time." His smile died sadly, tail stopping it's slow wave. "Whenever you're ready.. I mean, I can't go home for a while, so I have time to wait for your best opportunity. I understand the pressures of your possition."
