Zea did not take her eyes off of the horizon before she noticed a dragon much like the sleeping Pevency stalking the group. She stood with her talons inched into the tree, ready to defend the group although she had never used them Zea had a pretty good idea what four blessings she had could do. Two weeks from being full-grown, Zea was not a small grypon anymore. She stood in the tree firm and focused. If the dragon got to close she would have to attack. Yet she felt the presence of great power not to far from them. If her senses prove right that would be Bandido. She relaxed her talons grip so that if she had to make quick moves she would not be carved into the bark. In the rare but possible chance that Bandido did not make it to them Zea was ready to lay down her life. “Time to meet the great Bandido” Zea said to herself. Just as her instincts told her the used of her energy would not be needed. The vixen quickly showed up and scolded the dragon, which belonged to her. The cream colored Common jumped from the tree and stood close to the alpha. Zea was slightly larger than Bandido actually almost the size of Taniku, but her presence would always pale in comparison to Bandido.
The two wild dragons woke at the commotion. The two brave girls moved to greet the vix who saved them. They were slinky little creatures odd in attitude they seemed to hate each other yet not really. Sisters in away, they loved yet hated as sisters do. “Hello” they spoke in unison. ‘Yeah’ Zea thought to herself, ‘they are odd’
Out of the corner of her eye she saw the green cubs trembling next to each other. She dipped in respect to the Alpha and spoke quietly as she always did “You must excuse me, I am responsible for them.” and she turned to see about their wellbeing. Tabitha and Tabious had watched the whole thing happened. Their senses felt the presence of another that wasn’t mum or pop and woke to find a fox fighting a dragon. The power of the alpha slamming the dragon shook the very earth they rested upon. It felt to them that their world was being taken. The two small green cubs were okay but shaken, “it’s okay…. She’s a friend” Zea assured them as they got up to go and greet their alpha. Zea’s voice to them was quiet and soothing calming their spirit a gift she had gotten from her caretaker. But one was missing, Matthias, who she had laid beneath the tree she rested in. She turned to check. He would be up. Zea was sure that he wouldn’t sleep through all the commotion.
